Star-Studded Event to Honor This Year’s Nobel Peace Prize Laureate, Colombian President Juan Manuel Santos

OSLO, NORWAY, DECEMBER 2nd 2016 – Nobel Peace Prize Concert organizers announced today that the 25-year-old Palestinian/American YouTube influencer and travel enthusiast Haifa Beseisso will serve as this year’s YouTube Host for the 23rd annual Nobel Peace Prize Concert on Sunday, December 11th in Oslo, Norway at the Telenor Arena. The evening’s musical lineup will include Juanes, Sting, Halsey, Icona Pop and Highasakite, with Conan O’Brien as the evening’s host.

Born and raised in Dubai, Beseisso is a media savvy travel vlogger who focuses on social topics such as promoting positive images of Muslim women with her videos.
After graduating from American University in Dubai where she studied media and filmmaking, she launched her own YouTube channel in 2014, and vlog Fly with Haifa, and to date has earned more than 170,000 subscribers and 7,000,000 views. Beseisso focuses on her passions of travel and bridging the gap between cultures, breaking stereotypes and showing the real humane side of people is something she is committed to.

The Concert is presented by Nobel Peace Prize Research & Information, produced by Warner Bros. and Gyro, and has an average reach of several hundred million households in most regions of the world.
